Welcome to the website of KwekerHeij from the Betuwe in The Netherlands. We are located in the village Kesteren, near the Tree Center Opheusden. KwekerHeij is active in growing and trading of evergreen hedge plants: conifers, Taxus and various laurel species such as shrubs and slate trees. Most plants are delivered in the adult sizes; between 125 and 250 cm high. All Grown on fertile clay soils.

Our aim for higher quality is focused on the professional (export) market in serious numbers. The quality is expressed in:

Root System

Well rooted balls. Plants are supplied with generous and firm clay balls.

Soil Cultivation

Balanced soil cultivation and fertilization with many organic substances that promote soil life and keep the plants, both in and above the soil, healthy and fit.

Pruning

Regular pruning resulting in a compact base that is overgrown. This makes it possible to cut back to a narrow hedge, need of fewer plants per linear meter, but also further grow into solitary plants.

Plant Protection

Spraying with plant-strengthening and disease-inhibiting agents as well as weed control.
